Its location was absolutely perfect, not too far away from Ilfracombe Harbour Harbor. It had a private bathroom. Emma was the best host ever😃👍👌

There's something magical about this place, like finding a hidden treasure chest. The moment I stepped into my room, I was struck by the charming old-world touch that enveloped the space. It felt like taking a nostalgic journey back in time, where every nook and cranny told a story of its own. The carefully curated antique decor transported me to a bygone era, making me feel like a character straight out of a Jane Austen novel.
Blind mechanism slightly tricky.

Was great place to stay in Falmouth. Emma made everything for all of us. Location was excellent in the pretty comfortable area next to town centre and facilities, and the town centre-nearby pub. Staying here was a pleasure, we would happily return, nothing too much trouble...

Loved the beautiful garden and convenient free parking. Felt like royalty strolling through the grounds. Pendennis who? I didn't need a castle when I had these luxurious amenities.
Oh, let's not forget the fabulous food options within walking distance. I mean, who needs room service when you have the delights of street vendors?

I absolutely loved the location of this place! It was so convenient being within walking distance of the beach and the harbor. Plus, having our own allocated parking space was a huge bonus. No stress about finding a spot! Another great thing was the apartment itself. It was modern, clean, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The open plan kitchen, lounge, and dining area were spacious and perfect for hanging out with friends. And the hosts were super friendly and helpful, providing us with a thoughtful welcome pack.
One thing that was a bit frustrating was the lack of hanging space for our clothes and wet coats. It would have been nice to have more hooks or racks to hang our stuff.

I recently stayed at The Old English Rooms for a few days and had a fantastic experience. The hosts, Eric and Emma, were excellent and provided clear instructions for key pickup. The flat itself was clean, well-laid out, and had a lovely cream tea waiting for us upon arrival. The location was ideal, with everything within a short walk. The heating worked well, and the separate controls for upstairs and downstairs were a convenient touch. a great place to stay for a short getaway.

The property was beautifully decorated and had lots of lovely touches that made our stay extra special. We were provided with a welcome pack and extra tea and coffee, which was a nice surprise. the location was perfect, with the beach and harbour just a short walk away. Having our own reserved parking space was also a major plus.
That the nearby pub didn't serve great food and had limited options on certain days. the blinds and windows in the property were a bit difficult to operate, which was a minor inconvenience.

What a great stay at The Old English Rooms! I spent a few days here for a relaxing getaway and it exceeded all my expectations. The location was amazing, just a short walk down to the main street. Having on-site parking was such a convenience. The living area was spacious and well-organised, and the kitchen had everything I needed, including a lovely welcome pack. The bedrooms were comfortable, and having two bathrooms upstairs was a bonus. The property was beautifully refurbished, with plenty of space and a smart TV with Netflix and iPlayer. The hosts were friendly and accessible, making for a pleasant stay.
Strongly recommend this hotel.
